Are you a foodie? If so, Raleigh, NC is the place to be. Forbes Magazine named it one of the top twelve global travel destinations, Zagat called it the capital city of the “Hottest Food Cities” of the year and Travel and Leisure named it one of the country’s best cities for barbecue.
Clearly, Raleigh has something going for it when it comes to mouthwatering options. That said, while the list of restaurants may seem endless, it’s relatively difficult to find a place with the right balance of options for both parents and kiddos.
But worry not! The following is a list we here at Greasecycle have compiled of some of the best family restaurants in Raleigh, NC. Your taste buds will never know what hit them! (The following list is in no particular order).

Formerly a pie shop, Poole’s is an Italian restaurant located in Downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. It’s probably the best option if you’re looking for Cheese or Macaroni dishes. One of the more popular options available is the Macaroni Au Gratin.
The Macaroni Au Gratin alone is worth a flight to Raleigh. While the name is just a fancy way of saying mac and cheese, the meal is one amazing indulgence. It’s a big, delicious pasta dish that’ll have everyone around you wanting to ‘try a bite’.
